D. Douglas Depew, DMD, MS

Founder, Academic Director
Dr. Doug Depew maintains a thriving orthodontic practice in Kennesaw and Acworth, Georgia since 1990. He is a graduate of University of Georgia, Medical College of Georgia – School of Dentistry, and Baylor College of Dentistry – Department of Orthodontics. Dr. Depew is the Academic Director of the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting, and is recognized internationally for his knowledge in the training of orthodontic staff. He is an active member of several dental and orthodontic organizations and is active in the community through involvement in youth sports, schools, and business development.

Chad Greer, AOAC

President
Chad Greer is the visionary leader with nearly two decades of sales and marketing experience. He is responsible for guiding the company’s growth strategy, including product innovation and distribution expansion. Chad joins the AOA from his previous position as Vice President of Sales and Product Marketing at TeleVox Software, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare communication solutions. Having served the healthcare technology sector for over 14 years, he brings experience in building stable and unified teams preparing for exponential growth. Chad earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Alabama. He also served on the Board of Directors of the South Alabama Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

Linda R. Reese, RN, AOAC

Executive Director
Ms. Reese is the Executive Director of the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting. She has a strong educational background in business and healthcare and has played a crucial role in the development, implementation, and management of the AOA Academy. Joining the AOA team in 1999, Linda has worked diligently to achieve acknowledgment of AOA Academy as a formal education provider culminating in the endorsement of the program by the American Association of Orthodontists. She is a strong advocate of quality education for healthcare auxiliaries and recognition of achievement through established credentials and continuing education requirements.

David Sullivan

Director of Information Services
David Sullivan is responsible for the technical leadership of our company. David brings over 17 years of technical, development, security and customer service leadership experience in the healthcare industry. He previously held design, development and IT management roles at TeleVox Software, Inc. and Teledyne Technologies, Inc. David has a passion for creating innovative solutions that use the latest technologies and put the needs of the customer first. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of South Alabama.

Stacey Lang, AOAC

Director of Sales
With over 20 years of hands-on orthodontic experience, Stacey has specialized in clinical training, office management, treatment coordinating and practice marketing.  Stacey has also participated in dental assistant teaching programs at Bryman University.  Prior to joining the Trapezio team, Stacey excelled in sales and marketing roles for well-known companies such as TeleVox and OrthoClear.  Stacey brings a wealth of industry knowledge and sales experience to her current role as the Director of Sales.  As the leader in guiding current Trapezio sales strategies, Stacey brings energy, passion and a win-win approach to customers.

Chelsea Reese, AOAC

Marketing Manager
Chelsea Reese is the Marketing Manager for the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting. In her current role, she coordinates all of the corporate communications strategies. She is responsible for media relations, brand positioning, advertising and product UI. As an AOA graduate, she brings the orthodontic knowledge and industry background needed to properly align our curriculum with the needs in the marketplace. Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Kennesaw State University.

Nicole Pavon, AOAC, COA

Customer Service Manager
Nicole Pavon is the Lead Instructor and Customer Service Manager for the Academy of Orthodontic Assisting. As a graduate herself from the Academy in 2002, she brings close to 10 years of experience to the company. Nicole, having prior experience as an orthodontic assistant, brings clinical expertise and a true hands-on approach to our customers. In 2006 she became the Online Support Instructor for the Academy and in 2007 became the Lead Instructor for our CE Retreats. It is her true passion to teach and prepare students for the orthodontic profession.
